In the spirit of giving this holiday season, we are asking for donations to help our non-profit 501c3 organization (Ostrich Association) raise money to help expand to provide more educational programs for children K-12, as well as in-kind donations for the farm and animals.

There are many benefits that the farm and the animals provide for children. Learning about empathy, relationships, the environment and nature are just some of the benefits children receive by caring for animals. They also gain confidence and responsibility working with and feeding the animals. With schools closing down during the pandemic, now more than ever, children need to get out of the house doing outside activities and learning at the farm helps then do just that. But these programs cost money for teachers and supplies for socially distanced learning. We are now raising money to help expand programs about agriculture, the importance of animals and their importance at the farm.

We are also seeking in-kind donations for the farm, including building supplies, farm equipment, trucks, RV’s (shelter for overnight staff) and of course cash donations for animal food and shelter improvements.
